Police confirmed information about the shooting in the Kirov region

A resident of the town of Vyatskiye Polyany in the Kirov region opened fire from the window of his apartment, RTVI told the press service of the region’s Interior Ministry. About the March 15 Incident reported MASS MEDIA.

“A resident, according to our information, in a state of alcoholic intoxication, locked himself in his apartment and fired shots from a shotgun. Police are on site,” the press service said.

The representative of the Interior Ministry added that there was no information on the victims.

Governor of the Kirov region Alexander Sokolov writing in his telegram channel that a resident of the city opened fire due to alcohol poisoning.

“According to operational information, he has two smoothbore cannons. They say he hasn’t had a drink for 16 years, he’s untied.

The body reacted badly. There are no other people in the apartment. The police quickly cordoned off the area. There were no casualties. SOBR is on its way.

I spoke with the head of the Interior Ministry, the situation is under control,” Sokolov said.

SHOT telegram channel informedthat the shooter’s name is Alexander Aleshin, he is 47 years old, he works in the field of sewage disposal. Aleshin’s wife told reporters that her husband was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor, because of this he had a drinking binge yesterday. At home, he kept a shotgun in a safe.

According to SHOT, Aleshin fired in a policeman’s bulletproof vest, the policeman was not injured. Negotiations with Aliochine are continuing.
