The decision to hold the congress was taken by the presidents of Russia and Belarus in December 2022, recalls BELTA .
The scientific dialogue program, the agency said, includes a plenary session, which will hear reports on priority areas for the development of international scientific and technical cooperation from young scientists, as well as a series of breakout sessions.
As news portals have already reported, the path to big science in the SG space is successfully starting at many technical universities in both countries. The Belarusian Technological University, for example, implements joint programs with the universities of Novosibirsk, Saint Petersburg and Pskov. Colleagues create technology parks, organize competitions for young scientists.
By the way, in the spring of last year it was decided to support the promising discoveries of young state scientists. Commenting on this initiative, the Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Andrei Ivanets then expressed his belief that academic incentives become an “additional engine to attract a new generation to the field of science”, will be additional support for young people engaged in scientific research, popularization of the results of their activities.
Congress participants, the agency informs, will visit a number of research organizations of the Academy of Sciences. The program also includes the acquaintance of young Russian scientists with the historical and cultural heritage of Belarus.
