In the part of the Kherson region, which is under the control of Kiev, they want to remove the Russian language from public and official life in the region, reports TASS with reference to the head of the military administration Alexander Prokudin.

  • The Russian language will not be in the public life of the Kherson region. It will not be on First Bell holidays in schools, on signs in educational institutions, in state authorities, and it will not be on the menu of my favorite cafe on Suvorov Street,” wrote the authority representative in his telegram channel.

As Prokudin explained, the formation of a regional program for the development and functioning of the Ukrainian language began in this part of the Kherson region. This language will serve as the state language. It will effectively implement the Kiev language law in the region.

Earlier, Glavny Regionalny wrote that the former adviser to the head of the Ukrainian President’s office, Oleksiy Arestovich, called hostility to the Russian language a psychological deviation.
