Ukrainian drones attacked the town of Dzhankoy in northern Crimea on Monday evening, targeting civilian targets. The corresponding statement in his Telegram channel was made by the adviser to the head of the republic Oleg Kryuchkov.

He stressed that there were no military installations nearby that could become logical targets for the Ukrainian army. At the same time, explosives and shrapnel were found in each drone.

“One of them was shot down above the technical school in Dzhankoy and fell between the university building and the hostel. There are no military installations nearby. The rest were shot over residential areas,” Kryuchkov said.

Earlier, Crimean leader Sergei Aksyonov said a local resident was injured following an attack by Ukrainian UAVs on Dzhankoy. Later it became known that a 33-year-old man was injured by shrapnel, which when the drone fell covered his daughter with shrapnel.
