The average depreciation of water supply networks in Omsk reached 84.2%. The data from the report of the prosecutor’s office was announced at the plenary meeting of the city council.
Things are not much better with the state of the sanitation networks, 79.4% worn, as well as the heating networks, 62% worn. More than one and a half thousand kilometers of water supply networks need to be repaired or replaced. However, only 9.4 km were included in the preparation plan for the 2022-23 heating season.
The situation is similar with the sewerage networks: more than a thousand km must be repaired or replaced, whereas only 3.8 km appeared on the plan. And also with the heating networks: more than 800 km must be sent as replacements, while only 17.8 km were planned.
“In order to solve the problem of high wear and tear of these networks, it is necessary to develop new federal and regional programs for the full modernization of engineering systems with the participation of funds from federal and regional budgets,” the publication reports. SuperOmsk. the reaction of the town hall to the figures announced by the prosecution.
Given the data, it is not surprising that utility accidents are not uncommon in Omsk. So, in early March, a water hammer on the eighth water supply system caused a whole series of breakthroughs in the Oktyabrsky and Central districts. The consequences of a communal accident were eliminated for several days. For more than a week there was no cold water in houses No. 62 and No. 62/1 on Molodezhnaya 3rd Street, only boiling water flowed from the taps of consumers.
