The total value of the prizes for the Katara Prize for Arabic Poetry / Mothers of the Believers / may God be pleased with them, is about 120,000 Qatari riyals, distributed over three levels, the first prize is 60,000 Qatari riyals, the second prize is 40,000 Qatari riyals, and the third prize is 20,000 Qatari riyals. . The Katara Prize for Arabic Poetry, dedicated to the Mothers of the Believers, may God be pleased with them, is considered a qualitative addition to the Katara Prizes in the field of Quran recitation, the Katara Prize for the Prophet’s Poet, and the Katara Prize for Arabic Fiction, which in their entirety have become bright signs in the sky of creativity and creators. This award seeks to strengthen the status of the house of prophecy, especially the mothers of the believers (may God be pleased with them) in the memory of future generations, to confirm their status based on the fact that God – may His Majesty be the first to call them this honor and honor in the Holy Qur’an, in addition to presenting A modern poetic blog about the mothers of the believers and their virtues and their history. The award also aims to demonstrate the impact of the mothers of the believers in the path of advocacy, and the formation of the personality of women in society, as well as linking the biography of the mothers of believers with poetry and art, through artistic and dramatic texts. The award also aims to urge poets to employ Poetic narration in praise of the mothers of the believers. It is worth noting that the first edition of the award dealt with Mrs. Khadija bint Khuwaylid, may God be pleased with her, and the participants in the first session reached 550 participants from 25 countries.
