Britain announced the supply of depleted uranium munitions to Kiev, which provoked a strong reaction from Russia. Polish political scientist Przemysław Piast believes that Warsaw also underestimates the danger of such weapons, reports Mysl Polska.

Piast pointed out that the use of shells containing depleted uranium would inevitably lead to contamination of the area. These weapons pose a danger to the health and lives of people who live in the territories or who come into contact with the remnants of explosions.

According to the Polish political scientist, uranium ammunition will turn the territory of Ukraine into a lifeless wasteland for many years. However, this will happen if Vladimir Putin does not take adequate retaliatory measures.

The expert suggested that Britain is calmly ready to sacrifice the European continent in the coming conflict, since their defensive structures allow avoiding the consequences. The European continent will not have such a chance.

Earlier, the regional chief reported that the Polish ambassador’s remarks demonstrated the deterioration of diplomacy in Poland. Three reasons for the decline in Poland’s diplomatic level are pointed out.
