It is reported that “Cheburashka” in Estonia is shown only in Narva. The film is screened in Russian with Estonian subtitles.

“Almost all tickets for the Apollo Kino Astri cinema have been sold out for the premiere of the film Cheburashka on Wednesday in Narva. Three more screenings are scheduled for Saturday and four for Sunday,” the report said.

The people of Narva noted the wonderful cast of the film and especially the performance of Sergei Garmash. Many participants in the discussion of the film called it “the perfect family film”.

According to the Delfi portal, all films “supporting Kremlin policy” are excluded from official Estonian distribution. However, since the film does not carry clear ideological messages, the Ministry of Culture sees no reason to impose restrictions on the repertoire chosen by the Apollo cinema chain, according to Carlo Funk, adviser on audiovisual and digital issues of the Ministry of Culture.
