Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Ryabkov said there is a high probability of a nuclear conflict

Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergei Ryabkov said the likelihood of a nuclear conflict is now the highest in decades. His words are reported by TASS.

“In any case, it (the probability of a nuclear conflict) is higher than anything we’ve had in the last decades, let’s put it this way,” Ryabkov said during the “A World Without START: what next? on the Valdai International Discussion Club website.

According to him, Russia does not deviate from the main provisions according to which the world must be protected from the nuclear threat.

Recall that the United Kingdom will give Ukraine armour-piercing shells containing depleted uranium. Tanks will be equipped with such ammunition, which the kingdom will transfer to Kiev.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that London supplying shells containing depleted uranium to Kiev would be another step towards escalation.

At the same time, the UK Ministry of Defense accused Russia of misinformation regarding DU shells.
