Jaipur: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has appointed Kota resident Naveen Paliwal as the state president of the party in Rajasthan. The party has also fielded seven co-incharges in Rajasthan, including MLAs Amardeep Singh Goldi Musafir, Chaitar Vasava, Hemant Khawa, Mukesh Ahlawat, Naresh Yadav, Naridar Pal Singh Savana and Shivcharan Goyal.
Significantly, after the formation of the government in Punjab, AAP became active in the upcoming assembly elections in Rajasthan and for the last few days it is running a membership campaign in the state, but it does not have office bearers at the state level. Recently, AAP convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal took out the Tiranga Yatra in Jaipur.
