In the Smolensk region, new cases of Covid-19 were registered in 9 districts

As of March 26, 38 new cases per day were recorded in the Smolensk region. A total of 147,808 cases of a new coronavirus infection have been recorded since the start of the pandemic. In 24 hours, new cases of the disease were detected in 9 districts and there are no new cases of the disease in 17 municipal entities.

The highest number of infections was recorded in the regional center – 23 people. The second place is occupied by the Safonovsky and Pochinkovsky districts with 3 cases per day. In the third – Roslavl, Vyazemsky and Smolensk districts, where the increase was 2 people each. In Gagarinsky, Demidovsky and Dukhovshchinsky districts, a new case of the disease was registered.

Also, the Explique.rf site recalls that the vaccination of the inhabitants of Smolensk against a new coronavirus infection continues. A total of 604,393 residents of Smolensk were vaccinated with the first component of the vaccine in the region, 547,189 residents of the Smolensk region completed vaccination.
