Now there is news that both have decided to meet during the month of Ramzan itself. According to a report, the ministers discussed several issues during the phone conversation. During this, it has been agreed to have a meeting in the month of Ramzan itself. However, the date or place of the meeting is yet to be ascertained. Ramzan has started only last week and will continue till the third week of April. Saudi officials say that relations with Iran have been going bad for 7 years. In such a situation, the meeting of foreign ministers is important.
Shia cleric Nimr al-Nimr was hanged in Saudi Arabia in 2016. Apart from this, there were violent demonstrations in Iran and Saudi Arabia’s diplomatic offices were attacked. Enraged by this, Saudi Arabia ended its relations with Iran. Now, under the mediation of China, both the countries have decided to open the embassies. This deal will be completed within two months. Apart from this, some security and economic deals are also going to happen between the two countries. Iranian officials say that President Ibrahim Raisi has received an invitation from Saudi King Salman to visit the Arab country on March 19 itself.
