Destroyed tactile road tiles for the disabled will be replaced in Pskov under the warranty. Stanislav Starmolotov, chairman of the regional transport and road equipment committee, spoke about it on PLN.FM radio.
A radio listener who called on the air drew attention to the fact that the tactile tiles laid out on the roads of Pskov for people with visual impairments deteriorated after winter. The caller said this was because the tiles laid were not intended for mechanical cleaning and spraying reagents.
In response, Stanislav Starmolotov pointed out that the replacement of a defective tile will be carried out under warranty, at the expense of the contractor. He also promised to bring to Mayor Boris Yelkin’s attention that new tiles should be of the appropriate quality and designed for winter cleaning.
