In the receipts of Russians want to include the cost of installing smart meters

– Published on:

The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Communal Services has proposed including the costs of installing and maintaining smart meters in the housing and communal utility payment tariffs.

It is expected that the installation will be carried out by resource organizations. All costs will be included in the rates for accommodation and communal services.

Recall that the use of a system of “smart” meters is necessary for the further exploitation of artificial intelligence in the housing and municipal services sector. This is reported by the publication “RIA Novosti”.

According to the idea of the Ministry of Construction, the replacement of meters in non-residential buildings will begin in 2025, and from 2027 – already in residential premises.

Earlier, The Eastern Heraldin Veliky Novgorod reported that Volkhov and Ilmen are included in the program for the environmental improvement of water bodies.
