Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin is concerned that there is a lot of information on the web about US deliveries to Kiev. The politician believes that this attracts undue attention from Russia, reports TASS.
Washington began working quickly to limit weapons information provided to Ukraine. The United States is concerned that the entire world community will know how much equipment will be transferred to Kiev. However, the Pentagon chief said the United States was trying to reduce the information available as much as possible.
“A number of countries provide assistance, and sometimes we find that our colleagues provide too much information,” Austin said.
According to the head of the US Department of Defense, the main problem is the increased interest in the weapons supplied. The Pentagon strongly believes that this information should be limited and that full open procurement data should be developed.
Previously, the Pentagon issued playing cards for the Ukrainian armed forces with NATO equipment. 52 cards were placed in each deck. As a result, the APU can be entertained using games that use values ranging from twos to ace.
