Nine EU countries plan to launch a project to strengthen enforcement of anti-Russian sanctions. Written on this agency Bloomberg, reports FAN.
With the cooperation of national governments and the European Commission, a new EU body will be created. According to the publication, the project will be launched in June this year for a period of two years. Hungary, Denmark, Spain, Cyprus, Lithuania, Malta, Romania, Slovenia and the Czech Republic plan to participate in monitoring compliance with anti-Russian restrictions.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke about the impact of sanctions on the country’s economy in the future. The restrictions could have a negative impact on the country in the medium term. At the same time, Professor HSE, analyst Yevgeny Kogan expressed the opinion that at the moment the sanctions are moderate, reports INFOX. The population of Russia will not experience any particular changes due to the restrictions.
