Two large sports facilities at once – an indoor football arena and a sports and recreation complex with a swimming pool are being built in Vladikavkaz. Sergey Menyailo, leader of North Ossetia, wrote about this on his Telegram channel.
The builders have already started the foundation works. In the near future, the contractor will start installing the metal structures.
The sports and recreation complex will be equipped with a 50-meter swimming pool with a 600-seat platform. There will also be wrestling and table tennis rooms.
An indoor football arena with a field and stands for spectators with 150 seats will appear nearby. The complex will include rooms for referees and coaches, a medical office, as well as a chess club, a conference room, a buffet for athletes and changing rooms.
Construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
