Putin warned of negative impact of sanctions on economy

– Published on:

A large number of various restrictions imposed by the Western collective against Russia can still significantly affect the country’s economy.
This was warned by Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to DEITA.RU news agency with reference to RIA Novosti.
According to him, the sanctions adopted by Western states are illegitimate, however, in the medium term, as the Russian leader believes, the restrictions that have emerged can still potentially have an undesirable negative effect on the Russian economy.
In order to effectively counter the effect of the sanctions, Putin said, the Russian authorities must increase domestic demand in Russia as quickly as possible in order to significantly increase the rate of economic growth.

As the President noted separately, the government of the country must make this process sustainable so that a positive dynamic can be constantly traced in it. Putin called the increase in demand one of the most important parameters of economic recovery.
