A 77-year-old resident of Bogoroditsk addressed the guard unit with a statement. According to the woman, 10,000 rubles were stolen from her apartment on Kommunarov Street.

During operational activities, law enforcement officers identified the intruders.

They were 52-year-old and 34-year-old gypsies. The women went from apartment to apartment under the pretext of selling clothes.

When they arrived at the victim’s apartment, they found that his front door was unlocked.

Then one of them went to the kitchen, where the pensioner was having lunch, and the other was looking for money. After finding the bills, the gypsies left the apartment.

The women managed to sell the stolen money in a supermarket and buy groceries with it.

According to the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Tula region, a criminal case has been opened and is being investigated against women under part 3 of article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation . The gypsies were taken into custody.
