According to the head of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations Sergei Filippov, the situation on the road is improving, the traffic jam has been reduced from 60 to 30 kilometers.
“There are more than a thousand cars in traffic jams. In both directions, towards Moscow and Rostov, the movement has begun,” Filippov told Russia 24.
At the same time, the head of the headquarters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Rostov region noted that heating points are organized along the road. About 134 people are in temporary accommodation, including 30 children.
Recall that on March 30, due to heavy snowfall, a section of the M4-Don highway in the Rostov region was paralyzed. In addition, due to the abnormal element, the trains stopped, about 35,000 people lost power. Against the background of the incident, the authorities decided to introduce an emergency regime in Shakhty, Belokalitvinsky, Kamensky, Krasnosulinsky and Oktyabrsky districts. On the M4-Don highway, traffic was kicked off after a traffic jam on a stretch of the Rostov region first appeared on current articles.
