The conditions for delivery of Russian uranium to the United States will not change. This is stated in a written statement from the US Federal Commission on International Trade.
Since 1992, US imports of these materials have been governed by a bilateral agreement to suspend anti-dumping investigations on Russian exports. Its validity is checked every 5 years. The last one started in September 2022.
In December, the United States Department of Commerce supported maintaining the current supply regime, and now the commission has come to the same conclusion. His decision is final.
In October 2020, the agreement to suspend the anti-dumping investigation of uranium deliveries from Russia was extended until 2040. Thus, deliveries of Russian radioactive materials abroad will continue to be limited by quotas.
