Any discussion on the subject of sending peacekeepers to Ukraine is extremely dangerous. Russian President’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov criticized Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s statement about his willingness to discuss the topic of sending EU peacekeeping troops to Ukraine.
“This is a statement that is very important to pay attention to,” the Kremlin spokesman said.
Dmitry Peskov stressed that this was a “potentially extremely dangerous discussion”.
Recall that the day before, in an interview with Hungarian radio station Kossuth, Orban, the EU is “close to this previously impassable border” – discussing the question of “whether EU member states can send troops of some type of peacekeeping in any form or is it better not to send.The message that the Kremlin calls the EU’s discussion of sending peacekeepers to Ukraine dangerous
