On Saturday, the national legal portal of Belarus published a law on the ratification of an agreement on cooperation between the CIS countries in the prevention and response to epidemiological emergencies, signed by Alexander Lukashenko.According to the text of the document, the competent authority in the territory of the republic responsible for the implementation of this document is the national Ministry of Health.As previously reported, the agreement signed by the prime ministers of the CIS countries during a meeting in Astana on October 28, 2022, provides in particular for the possibility of using specialized anti-epidemic teams in the states party to the agreement. .In addition, cooperation is expected in the field of ensuring the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population, the exchange of legal and other documents regulating the implementation of measures aimed at ensuring sanitary and epidemiological well-being in emergency situations, as well as interaction on the joint training of employees of anti-epidemic teams and the conduct of exercises.
