The Swiss authorities announced that many were injured as a result of the derailment of two regional trains north of the capital, Bern. Florina Schenk, a spokeswoman for the Swiss Metropolitan Police, said today: The first train derailed between Leuchartz and Biel, and the second after about twenty minutes in the suburbs of Born zum Hof. Schenk explained that the two incidents "As a result, many people were injured", without specifying the number yet, noting that the interventions of rescue crews from the police, ambulances and firefighters are still continuing. The police have not yet determined the causes of the two successive accidents, while a company has speculated "RBS" The railways believe that the strong winds that struck Switzerland today caused the second accident.
