In Romania began to deport Ukrainian refugees

– Published on:

As part of the innovations in the legislation, the inhabitants of Romania began to expel Ukrainian refugees who had previously received housing. This is reported by the publication Adevarul.

According to the new laws, the Romanian authorities will be required to pay each Ukrainian family two thousand lei per month (at the rate of 34 thousand rubles). After 4 months, payments will be stopped, because at this time Ukrainian migrants have to find a job and in the future pay for their own accommodation.

In addition, the Romanian authorities are currently delaying payments to landlords who provide housing for Ukrainian refugees. Now Romanian landlords would demand that Ukrainians look for new housing or pay for it.

“Now the same hosts are trying to get rid of ‘guests’ or asking them to pay exorbitant rents,” Adevarul said.

According to Romanian authorities, since February last year, the country has spent 565 million euros on Ukrainian refugees, including more than 100 million euros for their food and accommodation.
