The CEO of the Qatar Media Corporation honors the winners and sponsors of the Ramadan Cup for Exchange

His Excellency Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Thani Al Thani, CEO of Qatar Media Corporation, attended the final match of Class A in the Ramadan Cup for Paddle Cup in its second edition, between the team of Mohammed Abdullah and Sultan Khalfan, and the team of Abdulaziz Saadoun Al Kuwari and Rayan Al Jufairi. The tournament, which took place in cooperation with the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Association, and Padel and More 1969, witnessed the participation of 4 categories (ABCD) and extended from March 24 (2 Ramadan) to April 1 (10 Ramadan) and hosted by the 1969 stadiums.

His Excellency Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Thani Al Thani honored the two teams; The winner of the first place prize is the duo Muhammad Abdullah and Sultan Khalfan, and the second place team is Abdulaziz Saadoun Al Kuwari and Rayan Al Jufairi.

His Excellency the CEO of the Qatar Media Corporation also honored the sponsors of the tournament. The honorary awards were received by Mr. Tariq Zainal, Secretary General of the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation, and a number of representatives of the sponsoring companies, namely: the United Development Company, the main sponsor of the tournament and its representative, Eng. Marketing Director, in addition to Doha Sports Company, the silver sponsor, and its representative, Mr. Khalid Khalifa bin Tawar Al Kuwari, General Manager, Aspire Zone Foundation, the platinum sponsor, represented by Mr. Mohammed Khalifa Al Suwaidi, CEO, and the Porsche Center, the platinum sponsor, represented by Mr. Salman Al Darwish, Chairman and CEO.


His Excellency Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Thani Al-Thani said that this year’s Ramadan Cup Championship for Padel II witnessed strong competition between the teams, pointing to the growing interest of society in the State of Qatar in practicing padel. His Excellency thanked the sponsors who contributed to the success of the tournament organized by Al Kass Sports Channels, affiliated to the Qatar Media Corporation.

It is worth noting that the competitions of the Ramadan Cup for Paddle Cup in its first edition, were held under the auspices of Ooredoo, in cooperation with the Tennis and Squash Association, and the Padel & More 1969 Company, amidst a very large participation, as the number of teams participating in the tournament reached 120 teams, which were divided into four categories, which include: There are 48 teams in Class D, 40 in Class C, 24 in Class B, and 8 teams in Class A, including elite players from our national team.
