From March 31 to April 2, the Krasnaya Presnya Expocenter hosted an international exhibition of electric vehicles for moving on land, snow and water. At an exhibition site, the whole variety of electric transport of the modern world was presented: electric cars, electric quads, electric bicycles, electric scooters, electric mopeds, segways, electric skateboards and electric rollerblades, as well as electric water, children and special electric transport. Many exhibits, without exaggeration, can be called the technology of tomorrow. Never has the exhibition been so representative.

Companies and brands

Among the dealers and popular electrical engineering brands presented at the exhibition, the most interesting exhibits and novelties were presented by: PSS Corporation, MOTOSURFING, KUBERG, Dinamika, ARCTIC LEOPARD RUSSIA, HORWIN, TALARIA, SURRON-RUSSIA, I -TRANSPORT GROUP, Bigo development designer.

PSS Corporation presented charging stations for electric vehicles made entirely of Russian components. Unusual novelties of electrical engineering were brought to the exhibition by Dinamika. The company’s stand displayed two- and four-seater electric horse-drawn carriages, somewhat reminiscent of medieval horse-drawn carriages for country walks, which were in great demand in hotels and holiday homes. A wide range of electric equipment for water sports and motor surfing, including an electric hydrofoil bike, was demonstrated by MOTOSURFING. Special attention of the guests of the exhibition was attracted by the world’s first bicycle with a hydrofoil and an electric motor, capable of speeds of up to 22 km/h. A wide variety of electrical engineering, from scooters and e-scooters to modern mountain bikes, was presented at the exhibition by BRANDT, the exclusive distributor of TGB mountain bikes, OKLA and Velocifero e-scooters and e-scooters. At the stand of KUBERG, fast, light and maneuverable Czech electric motorcycles for children and adults were presented. Young engineers from Moscow Poly demonstrated the STELS Guepard electric quad with all-wheel drive. The electric propulsion of this vehicle was entirely created by students from Moscow, while the rest of the electric quad was provided by STELS.

On-stage program

On the stage of the exhibition, the speakers of an open conversation on the hot topic “Individual mobility and infrastructure development” shared their views on the prospects for the creation of electric gas stations in Russia. Maxim Politov, director of strategic development of PSS Corporation, spoke about the possibility of using green energy for charging stations. Sitronics Electro’s commercial director, Nikolai Samokhin, shared details of the creation of Europe’s largest electric bus charging fleet in the capital, and also announced the planned launch of two electric boat tours along of the Moscow River this year. Of great interest was the story of Dmitry Matvievsky, the founder of IT Charge, on the emerging culture of charging station usage in Russia.

The speech of the representative of TsODD Mikhail Solomonov aroused great interest. The speaker spoke about the changes in the rules of the highway code for the means of individual mobility. During his speech, Mikhail Solomonov stressed the importance of complying with the new norms and rules that came into force on March 1 this year. Separately, the expert drew attention to the need to wear reflective elements on the clothes of owners of electric scooters, bicycles and other technical means of individual mobility when traveling outside the city. According to the representative of TsODD, the new rules have been in preparation for more than eight years and are aimed, on the one hand, at simplifying and regulating the movement of residents of the country on means of individual mobility, and on the other hand, on the other hand part, to make this process as safe as possible for all road users.

In turn, Alexander Sirotenko, Chairman of the Commission for the Trial of the Bicycle of Russia and the FVSR, shared with the guests of the exhibition a story about the importance of teaching children the rules of the road, to move around the city streets on electric scooters and other types of individual electric transport. In his speech, the speaker stressed the need to train teenagers in a playful way to move around town and countryside, which will significantly reduce the number of accidents involving electric vehicles driven by school children.
