The future author of many successes began his journey into the world of poetry in the city on the Neva, where, after graduating from the theater institute, he became an actor at the Vera Komissarzhevskaya Theater. And although Reznik had successfully played many roles in seven years, he decided to end his theatrical career, convincing himself and his friends that acting was not his calling after all.
Ilya Reznik begins to write fairy tales, funny musical stories in rhythm. In the series “Little Country” her books “Forest Tales”, “A Cow from Komarovo” and “Kashalotik-Kashalot” were published. Already in 1969, the brilliant debut of the poet on the stage took place. Her song “Cinderella”, which entered the repertoire of Lyudmila Senchina, instantly became a favorite melody from the Baltic to the Pacific Ocean. With special sympathy, the hero of the day always talks about a creative alliance with Raymond Pauls. On the music of the maestro, he wrote the lyrics for the songs “Maestro”, “Kings Can Do Everything” and “Vernissage”.
By the way, Ilya Reznik combined his best songs in one album called “Diamond Hits”. Many well-known Russian artists include in their repertoire such hits as “It’s not evening yet”, “Old Clock”, “Starry Summer”, “Crane”, “Without me, you, my beloved . ..”, “Carlson”, “Grandmother next to my grandfather” and many more.
Literally on the eve of the anniversary, the “Anniversary Opening Day” took place at the Crocus City Hall Concert Hall, in which Lev Leshchenko and Vladimir Presnyakov, Natalia Podolskaya and Taisiya Povaliy , Tatyana Bulanova, Soso Pavliashvili, Stas Piekha, Igor Nikolaev and Irina Dubtsova, Alexander Panayotov and others took part in it.
In his congratulatory speech, the President of Belarus, wishing good health, happiness and prosperity to Ilya Reznik, expressed his belief that in the future Reznik’s activities will further strengthen friendship and develop cultural cooperation between peoples brothers from Belarus and Russia.
