A snapshot spread on social media showing French star Karim Benzema putting a bottle of water on his mouth, while sitting on the bench, after being substituted in the Real Madrid and Valladolid match yesterday, Sunday, in the Spanish Football League (La Liga).
According to the site "Al Jazeera"One of the tweeters on Twitter accused Benzema of not fasting during Ramadan, because the match was early and before the call to prayer in Morocco in Spain.
And the blogger, a Barcelona fan, published a picture of the Real Madrid captain with a bottle of water that he raised to his mouth while he was sitting on the bench, commenting on it. "This picture is at 5:40 pm Spanish time, breakfast in Madrid at 8:44 pm, was he fasting?"to be widely popular on the platforms and watched by about 4 million followers on Twitter only.
During the live broadcast of the match, Benzema appeared to be drinking water, but it was not the full picture of the scene.
Activists responded with a snapshot from another and more complete angle, which showed that the French striker did not swallow water, but was only rinsing his mouth, to relieve his dry mouth after participating in 65 minutes of the match.
And sports activist Janti published – on Twitter – a snapshot showing that Benzema did not drink water, and wrote on it: "Benzema literally spit out (water). (This is) an attempt to spread hatred towards your Muslim brother just because of the football competition".
The sports analyst participated in the channels "BN Sports" (beIN Sports) Tariq Diab – via his personal page on Facebook – a video clip of the clip in which Benzema gargles with water, commenting on it. "May God accept our fasting and your fasting".

Karim Benzema is known for his commitment to fasting the month of Ramadan, as he has been participating for years on his pages on social networking sites, practicing Ramadan rituals and breaking his fast during the blessed month.
