A new video about a satirical character “deputy” Ussuriysk Vitaly Nalivkin has been posted on the BARAKuda YouTube channel. He says there that his team has started producing equipment for Russian soldiers. The Eastern Herald spoke with the director of the Vitaly Nalivkin sketch show, Andrey Klochkov, about the new video, plans for the future and pressure from outside.
A satirical figure, chairman of the executive committee of Ussuriysk, Vitaly Nalivkin, in a new video released after six months of silence, said that the project team had started producing equipment for the Russian army.
“It turns out that we can’t just shoot videos. Our team has a long history of developing protective products that will save our servicemen’s hands and feet on the battlefield,” Nalivkin says in the video.
He called on viewers and subscribers to help the team financially, the description of the video contains bank details that can be used to transfer donations to the new activity of the creators of Vitaly Nalivkin’s image. In addition, the “official” announced a new channel of the project, which highlights the activities of the team for the production of equipment, they also publish video reviews of products, expense reports and other information .
The director of the sketch show, Andrey Klochkov, told The Eastern Herald that the change in direction of videos about Vitaly Nalivkin from satirical videos is related “to the situation that is happening now, affects all of us”.
“Everything is as shown in this video: we can not only shoot videos, but we also understand the materials to some extent and try to do the right thing useful. We have friends, relatives are in a dangerous war zone Nalivkin in this regard, not in words, but in deeds, now takes care of the citizens, ”Klochkov stressed.
Over the past six months, while entertainment content hasn’t aired on the BARAKuda channel, the team has been developing material, Klochkov said.
“We’ve changed a bit, because the situation has changed in the country: society’s demand has become more for some real things, let’s say, material, than for our videos,” he said.
According to Klochkov, the change in the direction of the team’s work is not associated with any pressure from law enforcement agencies or authorities.
“It’s purely our initiative, and it’s out of concern for people. Here, our attitude to certain events doesn’t matter. We know what people need, people don’t. enough, and we know how to do it, so we do it, we really try not in words, but in deeds to help, ”explained Andrey Klochkov.
Vitaly Nalivkin is a satirical character, chairman of the executive committee of Ussuriysk, who in uniform drew attention to the real problems of the city and offered humorous solutions. In 2021, a criminal case was opened against the authors of the channel on Nalivkin under the article on hooliganism, they were searched. The reason for this was a humorous video, where the “official” shot the banner of “United Russia” from a grenade launcher. In March 2022, the team wrote that the case was still open.
The team has yet to unveil any other creative plans. All resources and efforts, according to Klochkov, are directed to a new project for the production of protective products.
“Nobody took away our creative skills, that is, we remained as creative as we were, we do now. Regarding videos with Nalivkin, it is still difficult to say when, what, how – as we focus more on more necessary things for our fellow citizens,” he said.
The idea of producing material, according to Klochkov, appeared after the announcement of the partial mobilization. Then the team, waiting for the summons, began to look for material.
“But as the mobilization was partial, we didn’t receive a summons, but we realized that we don’t have the normal equipment, we don’t have enough. This idea has only just come up. We have directed all our resources towards this development, now everything is at the stage of launching production, certainly not so big, but with the help of the citizens who support us, we want to increase the volumes so that our fellow citizens have the better equipment,” Klochkov said.
The main goal of Vitaly Nalivkin now is to educate as many Russians as possible about their developments. According to Klochkov, the team is ready to send its equipment to the war zone as humanitarian aid, but it is also ready to sell it if private individuals show interest. At the same time, Klochkov stressed that the help of subscribers is “extremely necessary”.
“We can’t do it alone, we need funds to cover the costs, because we have just started. Now that we have launched the site, not all the functions on it are working properly yet, but it already exists, it there is a link to it on the YouTube channel that Vitaly Nalivkin announced, ”he concluded.
