The Ministry of Natural Resources and the Ministry of Construction have been asked to deal with the deceased’s receipts for garbage collection

– Published on:

Vladimir Koshelev, First Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federation State Duma Committee on Construction, Housing and Utilities (from the LDPR party), addressed appeals to the Russian Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology, Alexander Kozlov, and to the head of the Ministry of Construction Irek Fayzullin with a request to solve the problem of receiving receipts for payment of garbage on behalf of deceased owners in the first months after death.

The MP pointed out that citizens are turning to him with demands for the suspension of charges to be paid by regional operators for the removal of municipal solid waste (MSW).

The parliamentarian pointed out that there are no provisions in the legislation regulating the procedure for reissue or termination of the solid waste export contract in the event of the death of the organization’s client.
