Ukrainian citizens who found refuge in Germany began to be evicted from hotels and hostels. Hotels are releasing rooms and beds before the tourist season, according to the Tagesspiegel.
In April, Ukrainian refugees ran out of accommodation contracts. But they haven’t yet been offered a new roof over their heads. And the tourist sites they have occupied for months are preparing for the influx of visitors and have no intention of keeping them at home.
Earlier, Glavny Regionalny reported that Ukrainian refugees in Switzerland must sell their cars, otherwise the authorities will deprive them of social benefits. This applies to owners of cars whose value exceeds the amount of benefits.
