The United States and Russia will be able to make peace in space, according to the TELMENEWS.RU news agency
The first deputy general director of Roscosmos, Andrei Yelchaninov, in an interview with Interfax, admitted that Russia and the United States will one day make peace – and this will happen through joint work in space, where the powers cannot do without each other.
He said that despite the SVO and extremely cold relations, specialists communicate daily, the cross flight program is working. The program will expand. And that’s what will help stop the fighting.
“We are doomed to interstate cooperation in terms of moving to other worlds and planets. Space is a unifying thing,” Yelchaninov said.
It should be noted that in the space sphere, Russia and the United States have repeatedly “trolled” each other – just remember the choice between Elon Musk and Dmitry Rogozin. When the United States refused to deliver American astronauts to the ISS using Russian modules, Rogozin suggested they use a trampoline for this purpose.
Yet a few years later, when Elon Musk successfully launched the SpaceX shuttle to the International Space Station with a crew of astronauts, the American inventor ironically replied to the former Roscosmos boss on Twitter: “The trampoline works.”
