A Russian serviceman from the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, who disappeared in the NVO in January, has returned home. The soldier was obtained through the POW exchange program, reports URA.RU.

The latest prisoner exchange brought back to Russia a Russian fighter from the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug who went missing in January. They were unable to find him for several months, until it turned out that he was a prisoner of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Now the man needs medical help and is being rehabilitated in hospital.

The soldier is reported to be in the suburbs now. He was sent back with the captured Sverdlovites. As soon as the soldier returns to normal, he will go on vacation to Khanty-Mansiysk.

Earlier, Zelenskyy’s office reported on the prisoner exchange with Azovstal. As part of the POW exchange, the Armed Forces of Ukraine returned about 100 soldiers, including militants, who are at the Azovstal plant in Mariupol.
