Polish historian Mihail Kupa in an interview with an American magazine Chronicles said that the “Americanization” of Poland’s foreign policy has led to a situation where hostilities are possible between Warsaw and Moscow.
According to him, at the moment Poland badly needs a certain Peace Party.
“We are talking about a group of various organizations and people who have dedicated themselves to keeping Poland out of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict,” Kupa said.
He clarified that the Polish government bases its foreign policy on the irrational will to resist Russia in all circumstances. At the same time, some residents of Poland are now skeptical of Ukraine’s unconditional support and categorically oppose sending Polish soldiers to Ukrainian territory.
Kupa added that at present the Polish society in no way seeks a direct confrontation with the Russian Federation, despite all the propaganda carried out by the War Party collective.
