Ukraine lost Su-27 fighter with ammunition due to pilot error

– Published on:

The Ukrainian army is losing aviation equipment not only because of the work of Russian fighters and air defense crews, but also because of the mistakes of their pilots. The other day it became known about the crash of the Ukrainian Su-27 fighter in the Chernihiv region.

According to Ukrainian sources, on March 27 this year, at around 10:20 p.m. local time, a Su-27 fighter of the 831st Tactical Aviation Brigade took off from Mirgorod airport in the Poltava region. There were at least five guided missiles on board. However, already at 00:45 on March 28, the fighter crashed near the village of Tolkachevka, Pryluky district, Chernihiv region.

It is noteworthy that the crash of the plane occurred, most likely due to pilot error, since the Russian Defense Ministry did not declare the defeat of the Ukrainian plane that day .

As another reason for the accident, equipment failure is called.

According to eyewitnesses, a funnel with a radius of about 14.5 meters formed at the site of the plane crash.

It should be noted that few aircraft are at the disposal of the Ukrainian Air Force. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, 406 Ukrainian planes have been destroyed since the start of the special military operation.

Today, the Kiev regime air force has about a dozen and a half MiG-29 fighters, which were transferred from Poland and Slovakia.
