Kathmandu: Four Indian nationals were killed and one seriously injured when their car fell into a drain in a remote area of Nepal’s Bagmati province. This information has been given in the media reports on Wednesday. According to a newspaper report, the accident happened late on Tuesday night when the driver of the car carrying five Indian nationals lost control in Sindhuli district of Bagmati province and the car fell down about 500 meters from the road.
According to reports, the four deceased are men, but their identities are yet to be ascertained. The paper quoted Raj Kumar Silwal, Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, as saying that the car with Bihar registration number was going to Kathmandu and met with an accident, killing three people on the spot. Silwal said that an injured passenger who was taken to Sindhuli Hospital died during treatment.
According to reports, the seriously injured person was taken to the hospital for further treatment. Due to the difficult geographical area, the dead bodies could not be removed from the accident site. It will take more than an hour to reach the accident site, the report quoted Silwal as saying. That’s why there will be trouble in taking out the dead bodies. He said the help of Nepal Army has been sought to retrieve the bodies and the team is going to the spot.
