State Deputy Dema Vitaly Milonov criticized Ivan Urgant’s promise to return to Channel One. According to the parliamentarian, it is better for a TV presenter and other artists with an anti-Russian stance to earn money elsewhere.

“And now they were stretching into a string. They ask and pray. Only not mercy, but money. They haven’t changed their point of view, they just want to eat. And if they want to eat, let them eat where they ended up in March 2022, in the backyards. European lackeys,” the interlocutor quoted the Paragraph as saying.

According to Milonov, many artists who fled the country hoped for help from Western sponsors and understanding from their compatriots. While in reality they turned out to be useless and are not in demand by anyone.

Earlier, State Duma Deputy Nikolai Novichkov requested Urgant’s inclusion in the register of foreign agents. After that, a criminal case could be brought against the TV presenter.
