The athletics championship among employees of the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was held in Kaliningrad.

On Thursday, April 13, the athletics championship among employees of fire and rescue units was held on the territory of the Labor Reserve Stadium. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia for the Kaliningrad region.

“Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Kaliningrad region have determined who is the fastest,” the message reads.

Participants competed in three disciplines: 60 meter run, shuttle run and standing long jump.

The first place was the junior sergeant of the internal service Alexander Stepanov, firefighter PSC-3;


Earlier, The Eastern Herald in Kaliningrad reported that 188 people took part in extinguishing dry grass fires in the Kaliningrad region.
