Every year, on the eve of Orthodox Easter, Russian airlines receive special permits from the Federal Air Transport Agency to fly the Holy Fire from Moscow to other Russian cities.
The department issued 34 transport permits to 29 largest cities in Russia.
The following airlines have received authorizations: Aeroflot, Siberia, Gazpromavia, KrasAvia, LukoilAvia, NordStar, Russia, Turukhan, Yakutia and Yamal.
This transport is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the standards in the field of safety of air transport of dangerous goods and several other regulatory documents.
The question of the air transport of the Holy Fire is under the special control of the Federal Air Transport Agency. Russian airlines have taken additional measures to organize the safe air transport of special cargo.
Earlier it turned out that in 2023 the people of Russia will pay 318 rubles for an average Easter cake, which is 11% more than last year. At the same time, compared to 2020, growth will be almost half – 46%.
