Why question on encounter?

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s ‘zero tolerance’ policy against criminals in Uttar Pradesh has brought mafias like Atiq to their knees. The image of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has emerged as a different kind of neutral ruler across the country. There is fear among the criminals regarding this policy of the Chief Minister. Now criminals and rioters have started thinking 100 times before carrying out any incident. This is the reason why incidents of arson and violence took place in West Bengal, Bihar and other states on holy days like Ram Navami, but no such incident took place in Uttar Pradesh. Political debate has started in the whole country regarding Yogi’s working style. Owaisi and Akhilesh Yadav are adding flavor of religion and religion to the encounter of Asad, son of Mafia Atiq and shooter Ghulam. Certainly raising questions is the political dharma of the opposition. But where is the policy to give political protection to crime and mafia. Till when we will make religion and caste the support of vote bank.

Umesh Pal, an eyewitness to the murder of BSP MLA Rajupal in Prayagraj, was murdered in the last week of February. After the murder, the political atmosphere got heated in the entire state. People started raising questions on the Yogi government. The claim of making the state mafia free was termed as ridiculous. It was said that even after being in jail, mafia like Atiq are killing innocent people on the open road. The police are also being targeted. Innocent gunners were also killed in this incident. The government was being put in the dock regarding the bulldozer policy and crime-free state.

Chief Minister Yogi took this incident very seriously. He announced in the Vidhansabha that he would bury the criminals. When the government came into action mode against mafia like Atiq, then the opposition again started taking the guise of religion and religion due to the fear of vote bank. The Samajwadi Party, which was shedding crocodile tears over Umeshpal’s murder, started chanting political slogans over the action against Atiq. Those questioning Yogi’s encounter policy are even saying whether the law and constitution should be abolished in Uttar Pradesh. Owaisi is raising the question that what is the meaning of constitution and law. Then the post like court and judge should be abolished. There is a court and a constitution to punish criminals. Encounter is not justice anywhere. Owaisi has said that the law is being encountered in Uttar Pradesh. Former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has also called the encounter fake. In their eyes, power does not decide what is right and what is wrong. We completely agree with the words of Akhilesh Yadav and Owaisi. It should not happen. Then why did Atik get Umeshpal killed, should this have happened. If not then why was Owaisi silent.

Since 2017, more than 10713 encounters have taken place in Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh is probably the only state like this in the whole country. More than 183 criminals were eliminated in the encounter. Meerut Police has done maximum 3152 encounters. Some so-called sociologists say that encounter is not the solution to any problem. But these sociologists do not speak at all on the political protectionist policy of crime and criminals.

The question also arises as to why Owaisi did not see religion during that time. Why don’t you remember the constitution during that time? Where does religion go when a doctor’s daughter is raped in Hyderabad. Later the encounter of the accused is done. For 40 years in Uttar Pradesh, Ateeq Ahmed has defied law and order. He has ruined the lives of thousands of people. After the murder of Rajupal, to prove himself innocent, the eyewitness Umeshpal is murdered in Prayagraj. Akhilesh and Owaisi can be asked why they did not raise the question at the time of the murder of Umesh and Rajupal. Why didn’t their religion and religion wake up at that time? Where did the matter of constitution and justice go?

Such people, who raised questions on the encounter of the Yogi government, remained silent on the mafia rule of the past for 40 years. Despite more than 100 cases, he was not even given notice from any court. For the first time in the Yogi government, when the screws were tightened on Atiq and his henchmen, then religion and religion started to be remembered. Such people will tell whether it was possible for a mafia like Atiq to become MLA and MP five times each without political protection.

Meanwhile, it is being revealed that he also has links with mafia don Abu Salem and Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI and Lashkar-e-Taiba. Well, it is too early to say anything on this. This is a matter of investigation. But there is no doubt that Atiq’s crime empire was huge. People were afraid of him. All the governments in the state prior to the Yogi government gave protection to the mafia. Made many honorable. Keep raising questions, keep raising questions, but the biggest truth is that common people are happy with Yogi government’s ‘zero tolerance’ policy against criminals.
