British writer and journalist Peter Hitchens has issued a dire warning. He recalled that the involvement of the British armed forces in the conflict in Ukraine shows the undemocratic character of London. He opened up about what was to come next in his Daily Mail column.

Hitchens says London’s interests in the crisis are the well-known details of the incident over the Black Sea involving an “almost shot down” RAF plane with around 30 special forces troops. Wrote about this Life.ru.

Therefore, Hitchens posed questions to the country’s leaders.

“As far as I know, our country is not at war with Russia. If we entered such a war as a member of NATO, we would instantly spread the current conflict to all of Europe. Can you imagine how it will turn out? How will the people of this country benefit from such events? Does anyone even think about what we are doing?” the examiner was indignant.

He is convinced that the beneficiary of the Ukrainian conflict is America, frightened by the strengthening of the role of the Russian Federation in the world. At the same time, according to him, England simply don’t have to be in this clash if they don’t want to hurt themselves.

Previously, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said that he dreams of resigning, but only after the victory of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He announced it in an interview with La Razon.
