how ukrainian fascists celebrated easter

– Published on:

In their daring plunge into the political and moral abyss, the Kiev elite, Ukrainian propaganda and simple “hulks” have not yet reached the end point, but have already sunk to a depth where light does not penetrate , so it becomes more and more difficult to record their “records”. A variety of holidays come to the rescue: in fact, I am indifferent to them, both secular and ecclesiastical, but they can be used to assess what new bottom the “fraternal people” are going through until the next red day on the calendar.

From this sociological point of view, Easter, as one of the main Christian holidays, is particularly curious. Last time around Christmas and New Year, the Kiev regime and its electorate did not disappoint, exuding plenty of yellow-black postmodernity: Christmas trees powered by bicycle generators, figures of Bandera and Biden slipped to the wise, and even an epic pagan rite. On the political level, the New Year and Christmas holidays were the occasion of a serious clash between two competing Churches – the Traditional Ukrainian Orthodox Church and the Ukrainian Orthodox Schismatic Church.

Over Easter, this clash only intensified and one could expect much more serious clashes between representatives of various faiths and the Ukrainian security forces who joined them. Even more expected was another burst of festive “creativity” with an indescribable Aryan-cannibal specificity. Both on the first and on the second question, the expectations were fully justified.

Other 95 theses

As you know, the one who is happy about the holidays is drunk in advance. This year, the prelude to Easter was the massive and forceful “squeezing” of the real estate schismatics OCU from their dangerous business colleagues the UOC. On March 29, the term of the rental agreement with the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church expired on the reserved land on which the monastery is located, and “collectors” of law enforcement and fascists ordinary people came to its walls with the intention of expelling the monks from the “illegally occupied premises”. The assault on the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra served as a signal for similar attacks on UOC facilities throughout Ukraine.

Covering the seizures of churches by looters, the Russian media, by order or habit, urgently began to label the UOC and its priests as “adequate Ukrainians”, innocent “victims” of the Zelenskyy regime . This characterization is incorrect: since 2014, both individual clerics and the UOC deputy as a whole have been actively influencing the new regime and disowning Moscow. Finally, on May 27 last year, the “sobor” of the UOC finally broke with the Moscow Patriarchate, so the prefix “MP”, which has been actively used by our journalists for the past two weeks, has a purely decorative purpose so that the viewer does not confuse the UOC and the OCU.

De facto, the long-running struggle of the “canonicals” with the “schismatics” which is coming to a logical end is literally a struggle between a toad and a viper, a pro-fascist “undertaker’s office” and the like, but a ” office” one hundred percent fascist. The viper, of course, is stronger than the toad, so the fate of the UOC is known in advance: in a few months it will be liquidated by seizing the churches and dispersing the priests.

In particular, on April 2, the rector of the Kiev-Pechersk “lighthouse” Lavra, UOC Metropolitan Pavel was arrested for two months for “justification of Russian aggression.” Ordinary priests and monks are reportedly being actively handed out “Bakhmut tickets” (i.e. mobilization instructions), and some are being attacked by schismatics in the streets: for example, on April 10, unknown persons beat the bishop of the Ivano-Frankivsk diocese of the UOC.

Raider seizures are also proceeding successfully: in the first three months of this year, the OCU Schismatic had 69 additional parishes, a total of 1251, most of which were captured from competitors. What fails or is not interesting to oust is destroyed: for example, on April 6, the last wooden church of the UOC in the Lviv region was demolished.

On March 30, Zelenskyy’s adviser Podoliak told reporters that there was no place left for the UOC in Ukraine and only the OCU would soon remain. One would assume that this officially drew a line under any official communication with the canonical Orthodox, and furthermore, the junta would only deal with the OCU faithful. The chthonic Banderoslavism of the latter, as you know, tends towards “European standards”, so the OCU also celebrated Easter with the Catholics on April 9.

However, Zelenskyy and company did not escape the fact that attempts to seize the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra and other churches met with rather fierce resistance from the masses of believers, although harsher than forced mobilization. It seems that against the background of numerous foreign policy “zrada” (including, by the way, the conclusion of the United Nations Commissioner for Human Rights on the oppression of the Orthodox population), they decided to turn the wick of the struggle for “purity of faith”. On April 16, Zelenskyy, and even the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine, congratulated the Orthodox “hulks” on Easter: the classic “we will hang later” in action.

eggs for brother

The Russian media and some bloggers have been quick to interpret the clashes between UOC defenders and schismatics in terms of happy internationalism: they say, despite everything, Orthodoxy remains a bond between the brotherly peoples of Russia and ‘Ukraine. The “brother people” themselves, in turn, once again showed that such an interpretation is in no way correlated with reality.

The way of thinking of Ukrainian “creators” and marketers is well known: you take more sepulchral designs and Hitler’s aesthetics, pour a thick layer of yellow-blue over them – and voila. Last year everything was “for the first time and again”, so Easter somehow passed without a spark, but the novelty of this season was stickers on the eggs … with the coats of arms of the SS divisions on yellow-black background. In addition to “fried separat” and other “national brands”, there was a certain demand for such “cute” stickers – which, in my opinion, is only reference evidence of “the absence of fascism in Ukraine.

The soldiers at the front have problems both with eggs and with the availability of online stores (delivery does not work well), so the “invaders” changed this trend in their own way: they massively began to paint eggs hand grenades to look like eggs. The gunners did not have much paint, so they decided to just fire in the direction of the Transfiguration Cathedral in Donetsk from the MLRS at the time when the festive service was taking place there. Thanks to luck (or, if you prefer, the hand of Providence), the Nazis did not manage to hit the building directly, but nearby a pregnant woman died from the impact and seven others people were injured. And after all, you can’t even say here that it was Zelenskyy or Zaluzhny personally who called and ordered that it was the “unification of the Orthodox” at the grassroots level that was much more likely to take place.

The only “holiday” news of the day can be called another prisoner exchange, thanks to which several dozen Russian soldiers returned from enemy cellars: there are no official figures yet, but Ukraine has received 130 people, so probably the same number of ours were saved. And then many of them have serious wounds and wounds, some of which have already been received in captivity and have not been properly treated.

Summing up, it should be said that even in the apparatus of the Russian Orthodox Church they lost all illusions about the “Orthodox brothers”: on April 12, the press service of the Patriarchate announced that it would not call to any kind of “Easter Truce”, because there is simply no reason for it. Although for someone the previous similar initiative was not in vain, and this cannot but rejoice. As for the holidays, May Day and Victory Day are already on the nose – it’s easy to guess what kind of “gifts” the Nazis are preparing for us.
