The head of the Moscow military commissariat, Colonel Maxim Loktev, said whether foreign citizens could join the Russian army. According to the military commissar, who referred to the legislation of the Russian Federation, foreigners have such an opportunity.

There are such citizens, the military commissariat is actively working with them. Since the beginning of the year, more than two hundred people are already (there are) active military among those who are not citizens of the Russian Federation, said Moskovsky Komsomolets citing Loktev.

On Monday, the head of the Pentagon’s press office said the US military was not participating in the military conflict in Ukraine. According to him, the personnel of the American armed forces are not in the special operation zone.
