Voting has started for objects to be improved in the Tver region in 2024

On April 15, the All-Russian vote began for the objects that will be furnished in 2024 under the federal project “Formation of a comfortable urban environment”, initiated by the President of Russia from the national project “Housing and urban environment”.

“Residents will decide for themselves how their settlements should be transformed, what they should look like. These are the same comments that the president constantly tells us about,” Mikhail Mishustin noted during an operational meeting with deputy prime ministers on April 17. – We expect many to express their interest and express their opinion on how to improve the urban environment. This can be done, as in previous years, on a specially created electronic platform.

Voting will last until May 31, 2023. Residents of the Upper Volga region can vote on the za.gorodsreda.ru page using the commenting platform “Gosuslugi. Let’s decide together”, on the public vote widgets “Public services. Let’s decide together” on the website of the municipality, as well as through the application of volunteers who accompany the vote in public places of all participating municipalities. In the Tver region there are more than 100 people, they inform residents of the city about the possibility of participating in the online voting of all Russia, the projects under discussion.Recruitment of volunteers will continue throughout the election period.

“It is very important that the vote is active and that valid projects are chosen in all municipalities,” said Governor Igor Rudenya. “The creation of modern parks and embankments, squares and squares, the layout of courtyards is an important contribution to improving the quality of life in our cities.”

58 projects from 19 municipalities of the Tver region were submitted for the competition: Tver, Konakovo, Kuvshinovo, Torzhok, Bezhetsky, Bologovsky, Toropetsky and Firovsky districts, Vyshnevolotsky, Zharkovsky, Zapadnodvinsky, Likhoslavl, Kimrsky, Nelidovsky, Ostashkovsky, Rzhevsky, Spirovsky , Staritsky, Udomelsky districts.

Declared improvement of public spaces, squares, embankments, streets and parks, playgrounds.

The items that received the highest number of votes based on the voting results will be included in the improvement list for next year.

Recall that in 2022, 53,622 residents of the Tver region participated in the vote for improvement projects. 11 projects have been supported and are scheduled to be implemented this year.

One of them is the improvement of Tver’s main pedestrian street, Trekhsvyatskaya, for which 4,300 residents voted. Work has already started on the site. This year they are held on the first section – from Novotorzhskaya Street to Radishchev Boulevard.


The implementation of the project “Formation of a comfortable urban environment” began in 2017 on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The main goal of the project is to transform the appearance of Russian cities, to make them more comfortable for residents and to give new impetus to the development of municipalities, to create new comfortable and modern public spaces.
