Britain promises weapons to Ukraine from its stocks “for a rainy day”. This is reported by the Guardian newspaper, citing sources.
Despite promises from former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson to increase military support, the country believes it is handing over everything it needs to Ukraine, the sources said. Therefore, Britain is already pledging its personal “rainy day reserves”.
Earlier, a captured Ukrainian soldier said Challenger tanks promised by the UK never arrived in Ukraine’s separate 25th Airborne Brigade.
Earlier it was reported that NATO countries plan to transfer two battalions of Leopard 2 tanks and four battalions of Leopard 1 tanks to the Kiev regime, while no other announced deliveries are planned.
