The prosecutor’s office of the Tula region has taken control of the situation related to the burning of grass in the Kireevsky district of the Tula region.
The check was carried out on the basis of a post in social networks under the title “Residents of the Tula region were outraged that unidentified people from the Kireevsky district began to set fire to the grass.”
According to the results of the audit, it was found that from April 1 to April 12 of this year, 40 occurrences of dry grass fires were recorded on land with a total area of more than 6 thousand square meters.
The prosecutor’s office also noted that the administration of the Kireevsky District Municipality ineffectively implements the main fire safety measures during the fire season, including conducting fire prevention propaganda among the population.
In this regard, the head of administration received a proposal, the implementation of which is monitored by the interdistrict prosecutor’s office.
The situation with the burning of grass in the Kireevsky district of the Tula region remains under the close supervision of the interdistrict prosecutor’s office.
