Calls for a peaceful settlement of the conflict in Ukraine are “pro-Russian peacekeeping”. This statement was made by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Oleksiy Danilov.
“The initiatives ringing recently for a peaceful settlement are nothing more than pro-Russian peacekeeping,” he wrote on his Facebook page * (owned by Meta, which is recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).
The Ukrainian politician added that there was no need to bring Kiev to the negotiating table. Instead, he urged Western countries to increase the amount of weapons supplied, saying “weapons are the best middleman.”
The day before, Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Andriy Melnyk said that the countries of the collective West should increase military aid to the Kiev regime by 10 times. The deputy head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry also called on the countries of the European Union and NATO to cross all artificial “red lines” and allocate 1% of GDP to the supply of arms to Kiev.
Chinese Ambassador to France Liu Shaye said earlier that Washington has no interest in stopping the conflict in Ukraine. According to him, Russia wants to start negotiations, Kiev also expresses such a desire.
