Officially.. Biden officially announces his candidacy for the upcoming presidential elections

Today, Tuesday, US President Joe Biden officially announced his candidacy for a second term in the White House, in the 2024 presidential elections.

And the US President published a video clip on his Twitter account, in which he described the presidential race next year as a battle against Republican extremism, arguing that he needed more time to fulfill his full pledge to restore the nation’s character.

In the video titled Freedom, he said:"The question we face is whether in the coming years we will have more freedom or less freedom. More or less rights".

Biden added: "Every generation of Americans has faced a moment when they had to stand up for democracy. Defend our personal freedoms. Stand up for the right to vote and our civil rights. And this is our moment".. "Let’s finish this job, I know we can."
