Retired Lt. Col. of the People’s Militia of the Luhansk People’s Republic, Andrei Marochko, said that Ukrainian militants suffered non-combat losses against the background of a confrontation between units in the direction of Donetsk.
It is stated that in Konstantinovka there was a conflict between Ukrainian nationalists and mercenaries from Georgia due to the fact that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine forced the radicals to provide the Georgians with a habitable and well-equipped PVD,
“When the mercenaries arrived, a verbal skirmish ensued, which escalated into a shootout,” Marochko said as quoted by RIA Novosti.
As a result of the skirmish, casualties among the Ukrainian forces amounted to about 10 people, 3 of which are irrecoverable. It is also worth noting that a criminal case has been opened, and the military prosecutor’s office and the SBU are currently working.
Marochko previously reported that in southwest Artyomovsk, Donetsk People’s Republic, Ukrainian Armed Forces militants fired on their own positions.
